While browsing Facebook this morning, a Facebook friend posted free wheels! One of my favorite set of factory Toyota wheels, the factory Enkeis! These aren’t them, as they are dipped/painted red at the moment, but they are free.

Hell yes.

I don’t know if they will ever be mounted(other than if I decide to refinish the current wheels), as they need tires, but I will have them on Friday.

Free, OEM and nice design is this the holy trinity of wheels?

One is damaged, we shall see how bad on Friday, but as long as it’s repairable...

How are the current tires on the SlowRunner? Still good or time to replace?

Those are also some of the best wheels for the 4Runners.

Lots of tread and like 2-3 years of life left. So, not even close.

Not getting the correct Enkeis... 6/10 needs more RPF1:

...So swap the tires onto the new wheels once repaired?

I think those are a bit much for a non-traction limited 20 second 0-60. And with such a high COG, I don’t think more grip is the answer.

Currents are 17's, the Enkei’s are 15's. I’ll eventually try to put some slightly smaller, narrower All Terrains on them.

Nice price. Plus beefy 15in tires are cheap like a budgie..

I dunno if anyone still makes road-going tires with sidewalls that high. But, fuel economy isn’t really a thing with that beast as far as I can recall.

It got like 5 on it’s last tank, so fuel economy isn’t really a thing. I rarely drive it at that, so fuel economy matters even less. In fact, the worse the fuel economy, the less gas to go bad.
